We provide the cattle, low-cost feed when needed, trucking services, and any additional support required. Custom Cattle Feeding

Ranch Horse Sales
As part of our cattle operations, we occasionally have a selection of well-trained young horses that are accustomed to roping, doctoring, and riding out to check on livestock. With a team of eight riders on horseback most days, these horses quickly become skilled and gentle, thanks to consistent handling and training.
Turf Grass
Melissa Feeders has developed an innovative turf grass program utilizing wastewater from our feedlot. We offer Zeon variety Zoysia grass for sale by the pallet or truckload. This beautiful, narrow-bladed grass is nutrient-rich and thrives when properly planted. Please call for current availability and pricing.
Our turf grass operation has become a model for other cattle feeding operations and was created through a strong partnership with Texas A&M University Cooperative Research and Extension to promote these sustainable practices. Melissa Feeders has also hosted a field day for Texas producers, showcasing our commitment to environmental stewardship and pioneering waste management solutions through research and application.
Manure/Compost
Melissa Feeders and its affiliated companies manage 950 acres of owned land and approximately 1,200 acres of leased ground. Much of the manure generated is used on our properties, but we also have manure available in various stages of composting. When fully composted, we can screen it to produce a high-quality product ideal for landscaping applications. Please contact us for current availability and pricing.
