Melissa Feeders is USDA certified for Source and Age Verification, and our experienced management team, with over 100 years of combined expertise, oversees every aspect of our operation. Many of our employees have been with us for over 20 years, and we take pride in our low turnover rate. Our state-of-the-art facility is designed with the well-being of our cattle in mind. Despite the challenging climate of North Texas, our sloped pens, ample shade, and sturdy feeding aprons ensure that the cattle are comfortable and well-equipped to thrive through all seasons.
Melissa Feeders sources high-risk cattle from sale barns throughout the Northeast Texas region, specializing in their rehabilitation and growth across various ranches where we operate. These calves are often featured in equine events at our Western Equine Sports Arena before being offered for sale as stocker or feeder cattle. In many cases, we retain ownership and partner with trusted stocker operators to help them achieve further weight gain.
Additionally, we grow and finish a select group of Wagyu cattle for several clients, focusing on extended feeding periods with natural rations. We also raise other premium beef cattle, primarily Angus, which are brought to final harvest weight and made available for sale to the public.

Offerings
Melissa Feeders has a wide variety of offerings from across our operation. Including cattle for sale, custom feeding, and occasional broke ranch horses for sale. Sustainability
Melissa Feeders has a long standing Environment Stewardship program to recycle and reuse food waste in its cattle operations. Where possible we work with partners to recycle high quality food waste into our cattle operations.
